This license was added to the Florida Licensing System to meet the demand of window, door and shutter installers around the State. Until now, individuals seeking to install windows, shutters or doors would either have to get a limited local license or get a broader license than what they really needed. Furthermore, until now, there was no quality guidance as to how to pass the State Exam. Now you can get a license to install doors, windows and shutters in any jurisdiction in Florida, for any sized building!
The exam is a challenging 2 Day exam:
Day One: An open book exam which consists of business, law and accounting and is the same day one exam that all license applicants take, regardless of their license specialty.
Day Two: Consists of multiple choice questions focused on the technical.
The exam is only given 3 - 4 times a year,
so passing it the first time is an important priority!

Our self study program is designed to help the working professional master the concepts necessary to pass this challenging exam. Your materials will consist of outlines and interactive DVD's for day one of the exam as well as a full manual presentation and a series of practice exams for day 2. The information is up to date and designed to help you pass the exam on the first try!
