Gold Coast offers 3 highly popular specialty seminars for Mortgage Brokers to help you learn the practical side of mortgage brokerage and increase your earning potential. We also offer several courses on Hot Industry topics such as Short Sales, Foreclosures, and Reverse Mortgages.

Seminar A : Now that I have my Mortgage Broker's License, what do I do with it?

Whether you are experienced or not, this seminar is a must if you are serious about making money in the mortgage brokerage business. For both conforming and non-conforming loans, you will learn who the lenders are and how they differ. You'll meet several lenders and see what they have to offer. You'll learn how to locate borrowers and how to approach them. Learn how to pre-qualify your borrower, fill out a GFE and 1003. Forms will be provided so that you can begin to package your loans immediately.

You will meet lenders who are willing to work with you. Learn how to package your loan to get it approved. This seminar deals strictly with commercial loans: Hotels, motels, shopping centers, apartment buildings, ACLF's, etc. Meet and learn from the lenders and banks as they discuss the loans they are interested in. In addition, you will meet non-conforming lenders and private investors and learn how to prepare an package your loan. Learn to do SBA loans and meet a lender who will walk you through properly setting up an SBA loan package.

Seminar C : Making Money with Tax Certificates, Foreclosures, Brokering and Investing in Notes and Mortgages.

Learn how to make money while limiting your risk. Learn how to invest in Notes and Mortgages with yields of 20%-40%. Even if you are not ready to invest yet, you will learn how to broker this valuable product. Learn how to search public records to locate property in foreclosure or about to be foreclosed on. Learn how to make money with tax certificates. (Optional software is demonstrated in the seminar and offered for purchase at a discount.) (All students must bring a financial calculator. We strongly recommend the HP-12C, HP-10BII, and Qualifirer II x, or equivalent.)

Each 1 day seminar (Saturday 9:00a to 5:00p) will be presented in our Broward location. Guest speakers are subject to change without notice.

Specialty seminars may be attended in any order. The price for one seminar is $245. We also offer special package pricing of $475 for two seminars (A, B, or C) and three seminars (A, B, and C) for $595. Enrollment may be limited and pre-registration is required.
