Appraisal > Post-Licensing

Mandatory Post Licensing is now required for Registered Trainee appraisers. If you wish to maintain your status as a Registered Trainee you must complete 45 classroom hours of Board approved Post Licensing courses plus the 3 hour Florida Appraisal Law Update course before the end of your second renewal period. To fulfill this requirement Gold Coast offers the 30 hour Sales Comparison and Income Approach course, and the 15 hour National USPAP course.  Florida law requires that Post Licensing courses be completed in class, not online.

If you became a Registered Trainee any time between December 1, 2006 and November 30, 2008, your second renewal period will end on November 30, 2010.  If you wish to remain a Registered Trainee you must complete the mandatory Post License education prior to November 30, 2010.  All other Registered Trainees must complete their Post License requirements by the end of their second renewal period.
